Attention Corona, Riverside and surrounding cities:
The 2009 - 2010 Kick Ace Poker Season has begun. This year will be like non-
other! Now entering our 3rd year of play we have made some awesome changes
and now have a poker club that meets the varying needs of our diverse club.
Here are some of the changes:
- We have started in September and will hold at least 32 Friday
tournaments between September 09 and the end of April 2010.
- You must play in 12 tournaments for the season to be fully vested
in any and all splits generated from our players cashing in the 2010
WSOP events that we send them to.
- Your top 16 scores will determine your seasonal ranking.
- Monthly ranking will be a total of your points earned that given
month only.
- All weekly Friday tournaments will give players a chance to earn points
that count towards the season standings and our all new "Monthly
Champion".
- All Friday events will start at 7:00pm
- The event entry fee is $50 (5,000 in chips)
- Kick Ace will hold 8 Saturday Tournaments. These tournaments will be
"Cash Tournaments". Meaning they will NOT count for points toward your
club standing but will however have a much greater payout.
- The event fee for these tournaments are:
- $60 buy-in (6,000 in chips)
- $40 re-buy (4,000 in chips)
- $40 add-on (5,000 in chips)
- Locations for these tournaments are to be announced.
- The dates are as follows:
- September 12th
- October 24th
- November 21st
- December 19th
- January 16th
- February 13th
- March 13th
- April 24th
- Monthly Championship. Every month if you are playing in the Friday
tournaments we will add all of your scores for that month. Whoever scores
the most points for that month will receive a buy-in to a local casino poker
tournament. (Value $200 - $400).
The Kick Ace Poker Club (“KAPC”) was formed with the intention to give local
players a place to play poker, improve their skills, and a way to earn a ticket to
play in a W.S.O.P. event. Plus, we just wanted to make it fun to play and learn
about the science and art of poker, and well, have a chance to win a little
money. Plus, have the bragging rights about our poker play with others!
So after all of that, if you are still interested in going to the WSOP, sign up and
